Yes Indeed, we still have snow in mid of April, how could that be?! Some Canadian joked about this:"hey, it is Easter, and Santa is really confused: is it another Christmas coming, so soon...."
During trip planning, I found most booking sites can not beat the hotel, and the best way is that booking at the hotel official site and you will find better deal than booking sites!(price and cancellation policy), so far I have not see any booking sites offer cheaper than hotel sites.
Again here is a myth about online booking agency, they have to make money for sure. Now days the Internet makes everyone possibly be an agent unless the hotel has some deals with the booking site.
Well, just list the hotels we are going to stay:
1. July 6 - Coastside Inn - http://www.coastsideinn.com/
looks pretty clean, and we just need a sleep time. Booked at hotels.com, 2 double beds.
We will use this to test double bed vs queen bed
And I have to say hotels.com service is awesome!
2. July 7 - Carmel Mission Inn - http://www.carmelmissioninn.com/
Looks small at this double queen room...
3. July 8 - Cambria Landing Inn & Suites - http://www.pacificahotels.com/cambrialanding
I think I got a good deal on the hotel site and US dollar is strong than Canadian dollar :((
